One of three residential

 development projects built concurrently as part of a major investment by Molendinar Park HA to regenerate a former Meat Market and to act as a catalyst for further redevelopment of the Gallowgate area.  Funding was provided by Communities Scotland, Scottish Enterprise, Historic Scotland and Scottish Arts Council.

The project emerged from a competition whose theme was to explore sustainable and cost effective energy and ecological solutions in building design.

The building provides support to a retained Grade B listed stone facade restored to the requirements of Historic Scotland.
