The works comprise the phased comprehensive redevelopment of the existing
independent special residential school to provide the following accommodation:-
secure unit incorporating residential accommodation, classrooms, administrative
facilities and associated kitchens, dining rooms, etc; sports hall incorporating
swimming pool; close care residential units incorporating general living,
sleeping, dining and kitchen facilities; school incorporating general
educational and administrative facilities; associated demolition of existing
properties and site development and servicing.
