Brown + Wallace were responsible for providing full CDM Co-ordinator Services for the new Hard Rock Café in Glasgow.
The works included the refurbishment of basement, lower ground & upper ground floors of the Old Atheneaum theatre to a bar, retail & food retail premises.
The works briefly included the following:
Introduction of raised floor to the old curved upper stall, creating additional room to the basement floor to primarily house staffing facilities & back of houses servicing.
Lower ground to floor to house circular bar & restaurant seating area.
The old theatre stage to be reinstated for additional dining and occasional live performances.
Curved feature staircase to be installed from lower to the upper ground floor to access a small merchandising store within the annex.
Access & service of the building will be complemented and increased with added stairs and 2no. elevators (1no. customer 1no. staff).
